PEDIATRIC ADVANCED LIFE SUPPORT (PALS)

Objective(s):
After successfully completing this workshop, the participant will be able to: ° Demonstrate basic pediatric life-support skills; ° Recognize the signs of impending respiratory failure and shock; ° Initiate treatment of impending and overt respiratory failure and shock; ° Identify and appropriately treat rhythm disturbances. Requirements for Certificate: To receive a PALS certificate, the participant will have to successfully complete the course and pass a written and practical examination that will be administered at the end of the course. Due to the requirement to review literature in advance for this PALS, this workshop is limited to pre-registration. ON-SITE REGISTRATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. NOTE: This is a full-day Workshop. Lunch will not be provided.
