Objective(s):
The participants will be able to: ° Identify clauses in a contract that would leave a group vulnerable; ° Assess an insurance company’s history; ° Devise a compliance plan; ° Determine the legality of professional courtesy; ° Recognize pitfalls for accepting a patient’s insurance payment as payment in full; ° Determine the importance of having an office manager or administrator.
