Objective(s):
The participants will be able to: ° Describe medical-legal issues regarding confidentiality and the peer review process; ° Describe the process of a hospital, state or federal investigation; ° Analyze landmark court cases surrounding peer review issues; ° Recognize the implications of being reported to the National Practitioner Databank; ° Improve the management of quality and, performance improvement issues.
