Objective(s): ° Discuss the pathophysiology of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) in adults; ° Assess the eligibility of patients with OSA for ambulatory anesthesia; ° Develop an anesthetic plan for patients with OSA for ambulatory procedures; ° Identify the problems of post-operative pain-management in patients with OSA; ° Develop a plan for postoperative pain management for patients with OSA in the in-patient and ambulatory setting.
